Signing of the Project Finance for “Tychowo Wind Park”, the second rp GLOBAL wind park in Poland successfully took place on April 21, 2009. The project will be co-financed by the EBRD and the bcpMillennium Group, the borrower is Megawatt Baltica Sp z o.o., a Polish Special Purpose Company and 100% subsidiary of rp GLOBAL. The PLN 346 million (€ 77 mio.) project is already in construction and start of operation is scheduled for autumn 2009. The operation of the wind park will cover the annual energy supply of min. 30.000 Polish households and provide additional income to the involved municipalities and land owners on a regular basis for more than 20 years.

The rp GLOBAL management considers this project financing under the currently difficult market conditions as strong evidence of the strength and attractiveness of renewable energy projects in Poland. RP Global is very optimistic to continue with the successful implementation of further wind projects in Poland in the near future.
